Introduction
The SIN-P260-M2 hydrostatic water level sensor is a device used to measure the level of water in a tank, reservoir, or other container. It works by detecting the pressure of the water column above it, which is directly proportional to the height of the water level. The sensor consists of a sealed pressure transducer that is installed at the bottom of the container, with a vent tube running up to the top.
As the water level rises, the pressure in the vent tube also increases, causing the transducer to output a corresponding signal. This signal can be used to display the current water level on a gauge, control a pump or valve to maintain a desired level, or transmit data to a remote monitoring system. Hydrostatic water level sensors are commonly used in applications such as water treatment, wastewater management, irrigation, and industrial process control.
