Project Overview

The Ya'an Hongya Jiangnan Water Plant project has a total investment of approximately RMB 180 million, covers an area of 19.23 mu and features a designed water supply capacity of 20,000 m³ per day. Upon completion, the plant will secure reliable drinking water supply for seven townships and roughly 130,000 people. 

Project Goals & Significance

Ensuring drinking water safety is a core public concern. The project aims to strengthen source protection, upgrade aging distribution networks, and strictly control end-point water quality to comprehensively enhance drinking water safety and public confidence. 

Sinomeasure's Solution

Following multiple on-site surveys and in-depth communication with the user, Sinomeasure's water quality analysis team proposed a detailed monitoring solution tailored to the plant's needs. The solution includes deployment of turbidity online analyzers, residual chlorine online monitors, conductivity analyzers and pH online detectors to address limitations of traditional spot testing—namely, "incomplete measurement, poor coverage and insufficient accuracy." 

Instrument Configuration

• Turbidity online analyzer (for continuous turbidity monitoring).
• Residual chlorine online monitor (ensures disinfection residual meets standards).
• Conductivity (EC) online analyzer (monitors dissolved ions and water quality consistency).
• pH online detector (real-time pH control for treatment stability).
